Located in the picturesque Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, L’Ovella Groga is not just a restaurant; it's an experience that redefines comfort food. Nestled at Avinguda de Sant Andreu, 114, this venue beautifully merges a warm ambiance with a menu that speaks to both the health-conscious and the traditionalist. With a phone number rhythmically ending in 95, they invite you to explore a world where quality meets community.
As I dove into their offerings, the standout was undoubtedly the vegetarian options. The Hamburguesa Perú caught my eye—a delightful mix of quinoa and kale topped with cheddar, asparagus, a tangy tartar sauce, and a sprinkle of cilantro for just €9.50. It was a vibrant, fulfilling dish that celebrates the joys of plant-based ingredients without compromising on flavor.
For those seeking a hint of hearty goodness, the Hamburguesa Cinc Sènies is equally enticing. Featuring a blend of vegetables, red beans, and almonds, garnished with goat cheese and arugula, this burger priced at €9.75 encapsulates creativity on a bun.
A visit wouldn’t be complete without sampling their Patates Braves. Priced at only €4.75, these crispy delights come dressed in house-made brava sauce or garlic aioli, bringing a satisfying crunch that pairs well with their carefully crafted beers.
Salads here are not merely sides but noteworthy components of the menu. The Amanida de Cabra Mesclum with goat cheese, walnuts, and a honey vinaigrette at €7.90 felt like a wholesome embrace of flavors, while the Amanida d'espinacs, featuring tender spinach, eco-friendly red lentils, tomatoes, and chicken, priced at €9.70, offered a refreshing touch, though it's worth noting the warning for those requiring gluten-free options.
Recent diners, like Stefan Mocke, raved about the familial vibe, replacing fast-food chains with a space where kids can play and friendly staff can assist in navigating the flavorful offerings. Lester Seow's serendipitous find of L’Ovella Groga led him to rave about the Texan and cheese burgers, claiming they were simply amazing—testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality.
Scott Graham Chaplowe echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the organic ingredients and eco-conscious practices that give L’Ovella Groga a sophisticated yet informal atmosphere. Here, every bite not only satisfies the palate but also resonates with a deeper commitment to sustainability.
L’Ovella Groga is more than a meal; it’s an invitation to embrace quality, freshness, and community. With its eclectic mix of flavors and eco-responsible ethos, it promises each visitor a delightful culinary journey. Come grow your love for food amidst the charming vibes of this unique Barcelona eatery.

Forget about McDonald's. Come here instead. Great burgers and frankfurters, lovely space for the kids to play, and friendly people. I just wish they could offer potato fries too (they only do 'bravas').

Found this place by accident when we got off at the wrong bus stop and needed change to catch the next bus. Run by super friendly people who can speak English, and were so patient to explain to me one by one what each of the items on the Spanish menu were. The Texan burger and Cheese burger was amazing, and the potatoes were prepared perfectly. And the place has such a cool chilled vibe.

Outstanding find. Best burger (and quality beer) in charming open field for kids to play. Simple and informal, but sophisticated choice in quality organic ingredients, and sensible eco-responsible touches like non-plastic cups.
